Production Coordinator Job Title: Production Coordinator Department: Manufacturing / Production Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Manager Job Summary The Production Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met efficiently. This role acts as a key link between production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules to meet customer requirements and deadlines Liaise with production teams to ensure materials, manpower, and equipment are available and properly allocated Track production progress and resolve bottlenecks or delays in a timely manner Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation Assist in production planning, forecasting, and capacity analysis Coordinate with quality control to ensure products meet required standards Communicate with internal departments (sales, logistics, etc.) regarding order status and delivery timelines Support inventory monitoring to prevent shortages or overstocking Ensure compliance with workplace safety and company procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency Requirements Education & Experience Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience in planning and coordination roles is preferred Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems Understanding of production processes and workflow Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain operations Ability to analyze production data and generate reports Soft Skills Strong organizational and multitasking skills Good communication and coordination abil…
