Applications that do not follow this format may not be reviewed. About the role Sunnystep is building Maxify as an AI-native operating system for the company. We are looking for a strong software engineer to build the technical foundation behind our agent workflows, evals, testing, deployment, version control orchestration, security, and full-stack internal systems. This role is for someone who has shipped production software and can own systems end to end: from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, reliability, and iteration. Responsibilities - Build and maintain Maxify agent workflows, internal apps, dashboards, and automation tools - Develop agent orchestration, eval pipelines, regression tests, and monitoring systems - Own version control workflows, release discipline, deployment, and rollback processes - Build full-stack features across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and integrations - Integrate with Lark/Feishu, Google Workspace, databases, internal tools, and AI APIs - Improve system reliability, security, permissioning, logging, and auditability - Turn messy business workflows into scalable software systems - Write clean, tested, maintainable code and documentation - Help establish engineering standards for an AI-native company Requirements - Strong production full-stack engineering experience - Proven ability to ship real systems used by real users - Solid backend and frontend fundamentals - Experience with testing, CI/CD, deployment, observability, and version control - Strong security mindset, especially around data access, permissions, and automation - Comfortable working with AI agents, LLM APIs, evals, prompt/version management, or willing to learn fast - Able to work independently from ambiguous business requirements - High ownership, fast execution, and strong debugging ability Strong plus - Experience building AI agents, automation platforms, internal tools, or workflow systems - Experience with TypeScript/Node.js, Python, React/Next.js, Postgres/Supabase, cloud deployment, or similar stacks - Experience with Lark/Feishu, Google APIs, MCP/tools, or enterprise integrations - Experience designing evals, test harnesses, and reliability gates for AI systems What success looks like in 90 days - Maxify has a stronger engineering foundation with clear repo structure, deployment path, and version control process - Critical agent workflows have evals, tests, logs, and failure handling - At least one high-impact internal workflow is shipped end to end into production - Security and permissions are visibly improved - Non-engineers can rely on the system without constant manual rescue Profile We want a builder, not a theorist. The right person has shipped production software, understands why reliability matters, and can build fast without creating chaos. This role is for someone who wants to build the software backbone of an AI-native company.
