Job Description SWZ Education is seeking a passionate and highly skilled English Teacher with a specialization in IB English and Literature. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalized instruction to students, guiding them through the complexities of literary analysis, language acquisition, and exam-focused strategies. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the IB assessment criteria and a proven track record of helping students reach their target grades through rigorous, inquiry-based teaching. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Deliver engaging, rigorous lessons tailored to the IB English (Language & Literature / Literature) syllabus for DP and MYP levels. Pedagogical Excellence: Develop comprehensive lesson plans that foster critical thinking, analytical writing, and effective communication skills. Assessment & Feedback: Conduct regular assessments, provide high-quality written and oral feedback, and track student progress against IB grading rubrics. Student Mentorship: Provide personalized guidance to support students in their Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), and final examination preparation. Resource Development: Curate and create high-quality learning materials, including worksheets, practice papers, and supplemental reading resources. Communication: Maintain professional relationships with parents, providing regular updates on student progress, areas for growth, and achievement milestones. Collaboration: Work with the curriculum development team to refine existing teaching strategies and ensure alignment with evolving IB standards. Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with a strong focus on the IB English curriculum. Experience in a tuition/private coaching environment is highly preferred. Expertise: Deep familiarity with IB assessment objectives, including Paper 1 (Guided Textual Analysis), Paper 2 (Comparative Essay), and Individual Oral (IO) preparation.
