Facilities Factory Operations Engineer

We’re looking for innovative, passionate, and talented people like you to join our team. We’re searching for an Engineer to be part of our Facilities Operations Department diverse team of talent. What you will be working on: Operate and maintain facilities systems including Control, Electrical, Air-conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation, Fire Protection & Detection, Ultra-Pure Water, Cleanroom, Industrial Waste Treatment, and Chemical and Gas Systems to support wafer fabrication plant operations Perform 12-hour shift duties to deliver 24-hour facilities support ensuring uninterrupted plant functionality Monitor system status via FMCS and analyze alarms to identify and resolve issues promptly Troubleshoot and normalize services to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and calibrate systems timely to uphold operational standards Conduct first-line incident handling, alarm response, breakdown repairs, and actively participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) incidents Perform inspection rounds and manually log data to track facilities system performance Isolate or lock out facilities systems for contractor works after office hours to ensure safety Maintain housekeeping standards in Facilities Center and ensure safe custody of keys, tools, documentation, and equipment As appointed shift leader, conduct shift handovers, plan and allocate daily tasks, and generate system performance and utility consumption reports Manage communication, daily logs, EAR write-ups and sign-offs, coordinate Work Permits, and oversee CMMS management during shifts More about you : Master’s or Degree in Science or Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Control Engineering, or equivalent 1 to 5 years of experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries preferred Knowledge of ISO safety standards Basic engineering knowledge including safety, industrial automation, and industrial control systems Familiarity with PLC and SCADA programming Proficiency in Microsoft business applications Strong problem-solving skills Other Information SSMC is committed to equal employment opportunities and adheres to the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP), Singapore Food Safety and Security Act 2025 (FSSA 2025), and Singapore Code of Advertising Practice.
