We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Carpenter tosupport the fabrication of in-house and customised products. This role isresponsible for producing quality fabrication work and display materials foroperational requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with theAssistant Supervisor and internal stakeholders to ensure fabrication requestsare completed accurately and within the expected timelines. Key Responsibilities Fabricate standard and customised door panel samples, door tiles, display racks, mobile racks, and other carpentry products according to specifications. Produce in-house product samples, including various sample sizes for marketing, sales, and product display purposes. Support fabrication requirements for exhibitions, showrooms, and other business projects. Perform repair, touch-up, and maintenance work for fabricated products and showroom fixtures when required. Coordinate with internal departments to obtain materials and ensure fabrication requests are completed on schedule. Assist in sample preparation and cutting for product portfolios. Arrange for maintenance of fabrication tools and equipment, including coordinating saw blade re-sharpening. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment. Work closely with internal teams to deliver customised fabrication solutions that meet quality and operational requirements. Carry out other carpentry and fabrication duties as assigned. Requirements Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, fabrication methods, and woodworking tools. Ability to interpret fabrication requirements to produce quality workmanship. Meticulous with good attention to detail. Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices and the safe handling of tools and equipment. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Responsible, reliable, and committed to completing work within timelines. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Physically able to carry out manual fabrication work, including lifting materials, standing for extended periods, and operating carpentry equipment safely. Preferred Qualifications Relevant experience in carpentry, fabrication, woodworking, or a similar role. Experience using common woodworking machinery and hand tools will be an advantage.
