Workplace Safety - Managerial level (WHS, Logistics)

Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing safety management strategies and initiatives to ensure a safe working environment. Support the Safety Manager in conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards. Monitor compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and company policies. Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees. Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports with recommendations for preventive measures. Participate in safety committee meetings and provide guidance on safety-related issues. Keep up-to-date with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify safety deficiencies and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a safety culture and ensure compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in a similar role. Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze and evaluate safety risks and develop appropriate control measures. Certifications in workplace health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
