Fullstack Forward Deployed Engineer About the Role We are looking for a Fullstack Forward Deployed Engineer to own the product experience that customers interact with every day. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, product development, deployment, and customer operations . You will build customer-facing applications, integrate AI workflows, deploy solutions into customer environments, and troubleshoot issues across the technology stack. You will work closely with the engineering team to integrate retrieval, document processing, citations, and LLM-powered workflows into production applications. While you will not be responsible for developing AI models, you will play a critical role in delivering AI capabilities to end users. Key Responsibilities Fullstack Development Develop and maintain customer-facing applications using React and TypeScript . Build and enhance the macOS desktop application using Tauri . Contribute to the SwiftUI iOS application (experience is an advantage). Deliver intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user experiences. AI Workflow Integration Integrate AI-powered features into production workflows, including:Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)Source citationsDocument ingestion and parsingVoice notesProject workflows Collaborate closely with the AI platform team to deliver seamless user experiences. Customer Deployment Deploy and configure solutions within customer environments, including:On-premise infrastructurePrivate Cloud (VPC) deploymentsDocument ingestion pipelinesEnterprise integrations Ensure successful implementation and ongoing reliability of deployed solutions. Technical Troubleshooting Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues. Diagnose and resolve issues across the stack, including:React frontendFastAPI backendServer-Sent Events (SSE)Retrieval systemsLocal LLM infrastructure Work directly with customers to resolve implementation and production issues. Product Improvement Gather customer feedback during deployments and implementations. Translate customer insights into actionable product improvements. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence future product enhancements. Requirements Technical Skills 3–5 years of experience in Fullstack Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Implementation Engineering. Strong experience with:ReactTypeScriptPythonFastAPIREST APIsSQL Experience with Server-Sent Events (SSE) or streaming applications. Strong understanding of frontend performance, responsive design, and user experience best practices. Nice to Have Experience with SwiftUI and iOS development. Experience building desktop applications using Tauri. Experience deploying software into customer environments. Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure. Understanding of AI systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and LLM workflows. Soft Skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
