About this role
We are looking for a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and simulation systems. In this role, you will work on mission-critical projects that support Defence and Public Security operations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities Software Development Design, develop, and integrate software applications based on project requirements and technical specifications. Develop and maintain high-performance systems that operate reliably in real-world environments. Enhance and support existing applications and systems. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. System Integration & Troubleshooting Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve software and system-related issues. Support integration activities and ensure seamless interaction between software components. Perform testing and validation to ensure software quality and performance. Collaboration & Delivery Work closely with engineers, project managers, testers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects successfully. Contribute to project planning, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support technical discussions and provide recommendations to improve system performance and reliability. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system records. Ensure compliance with project standards, security requirements, and quality guidelines. Follow established engineering and software development best practices. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related discipline. At least 1 year of experience in software development, game development, or real-time simulation projects. Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine, C++, and Blueprint Scripting. Familiarity with Unity, C#, and SQL databases will be an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively. Good communication and teamwork skills. Passion for developing high-quality software solutions. Experience in simulation systems, gaming, or defence-related projects will be highly regarded.
