Platform Operations Engineer

Looking for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. You will work with internal teams and vendors to ensure infrastructure services are secure, stable, and highly available. Responsibilities Support day-to-day operations of infrastructure platforms. Monitor and maintain compute, virtualisation, storage, backup, operating systems, and disaster recovery (DR) environments. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents and service requests. Perform incident investigation, root cause analysis, and issue resolution. Review infrastructure changes and ensure compliance with operational and security standards. Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh projects. Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. At least 5 years' experience in infrastructure operations or platform support. Experience supporting production or mission-critical environments. Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Windows Server, or Red Hat Linux . Familiarity with storage, backup, networking, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud environments ( AWS or Azure ). Experience with automation tools, scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is an advantage. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Government sector experience and relevant certifications (ITIL, VCP, RHCE, AWS, Azure) are advantageous.
