Join the Jaguars – Be Part of Tanjong Pagar United FC Coaching Team! 🔴⚪ About the Role Tanjong Pagar United FC is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Football Coach to support the First Team in the Singapore Premier League. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Coach in all aspects of training, match preparation, tactical development, and player performance. This role requires strong leadership, tactical understanding, and the ability to develop players in a high-performance professional football environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach in planning, preparing, and conducting first-team training sessions Provide tactical input and match-day support, including in-game analysis and recommendations Identify player and team performance issues and propose effective solutions Assist in opponent analysis, match preparation, and set-piece planning Deliver individual and group coaching to improve technical and tactical performance Educate players on discipline, including reducing unnecessary fouls and card offences Support player confidence, especially young or developing players Conduct video analysis of matches and training sessions Prepare monthly team performance reports for the Head Coach Submit individual player development reports every three months to management Work closely with coaching, medical, fitness, and technical staff to ensure team alignment Support player physical development and match fitness management Contribute to club programmes, community activities, and official club events when required Maintain high professional standards on and off the pitch Requirements Minimum UEFA / AFC “A” or “B” Licence (or equivalent coaching qualification) At least 3 years of coaching experience at professional or elite level (preferred) Strong knowledge of modern football tactics, systems, and player development Experience in video analysis and performance review tools Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work under pressure in a professional football environment Strong commitment to discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement Excellent understanding of player psychology and development pathways Willingness to represent the club professionally on and off the pitch Join Tanjong Pagar United FC and be part of a club committed to excellence, development, and success in Singapore football.
