2) Barista (Events) Apply here Tanamera Coffee is hiring Baristas to support our out-of-store events team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and Serve Coffee: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and lattes, adhering to our quality standards. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner, take and process orders, and address customer inquiries and concerns. Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee preparation area and equipment at all times. Order Handling: Process orders quickly and accurately, providing customers with the right product in a timely manner. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and menu items to assist customers in making informed choices. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth setup, operations and demobilisation, contributing to a positive work environment. Stocking and Inventory: Monitor and restock coffee beans, milk, and other supplies as needed for each event, keeping track of inventory levels. Adherence to Policies: Follow SFA hygiene guidelines and company policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and customer service. Basic Technical Knowledge : Able to setup, troubleshoot and pack coffee equipment for events out of store independently. Physically fit : Mobile and able to carry a reasonable amount of weight in setup and demobillisation of equipment as needed for events. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and a passion for coffee, including coffee equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic math skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to operate coffee brewing equipment and iPad/Android tablet.
