Laboratory Supervisor

Company Overview The company is a local laboratory specializing in geotechnical soil and rock testing to support construction design and verification. Job Summary Perform laboratory testing and analysis of soil and rock samples to support construction projects, maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe, organized work environment. Oversee and manage laboratory technicians performing testing in the company. Responsibilities Conduct soil and rock laboratory tests to generate accurate data for construction design verification Describe soil and rock samples to identify key characteristics relevant to geotechnical analysis Analyze test data and prepare clear, detailed reports for project stakeholders Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory test apparatus to ensure reliable test results Repair and maintain laboratory equipment to minimize downtime and maintain testing accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory work area to support safety and efficiency Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping protocols to ensure a safe working environment Assist management with ad-hoc laboratory duties as assigned to support operational needs Assist management in overseeing laboratory technicians in their work scopes Project management and liaison with clients Preferred competencies and qualifications Relevant experience in soil and rock testing is a plus Computer proficiency is an advantage Training will be provided for applicants without prior experience Other Information Location: Central Singapore, Macpherson/Kallang area Reports to Laboratory Manager
