Junior Network Infrastructure Engineer to support network andsystem deployment within a system integration environment. This role ishands-on and involves installing, configuring, and maintaining both networkinfrastructure and server systems , including virtualised environments. The ideal candidate should be technically driven, willing to learn, andable to support project deployments as well as ongoing operations. The rolealso requires participation in standby and on-call support for criticalsystems. KeyResponsibilities: · Assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of networkdevices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and gateways. · Perform setup, configuration, and basic administration of servers andvirtual machines (VMs) (e.g. Windows/Linux servers, hypervisors such as VMwareor Hyper-V). · Support system deployment activities including hardware setup, OSinstallation, and network integration at project sites. · Monitor system and network performance and troubleshoot issues such asconnectivity failures, system errors, and communication problems. · Perform basic troubleshooting and escalation for more complex networkand system incidents. · Execute firmware upgrades, OS patching, and software updates for bothnetwork devices and servers. · Generate and maintain network diagrams, system architecture schematics,and configuration documentation. · Support preventive and corrective maintenance for network and serverinfrastructure. · Assist in preparing maintenance reports, incident logs, and systemperformance records. · Work closely with senior engineers, project teams, vendors, and clientsduring deployment and support phases. · Provide standby and on-call support, including after-hours response forcritical issues. RequiredQualifications: Education: Diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Networking, or related discipline. Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a system integrator or project-based environment. Hands-on experience with network infrastructure devices (switches, routers, firewalls). Basic experience in server setup and virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, or similar). Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP). Skills: Exposure to system and network troubleshooting. Comfortable working on-site and supporting deployments across multiple locations. Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently. Able to support standby/on-call duties and respond to urgent/critical system issues. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive learning attitude. Preferred Skills: o Experience insystem integration, infrastructure deployment, or managed services o Familiarity withnetwork monitoring and system management tools o Basic knowledgeof cybersecurity practices o Relevantcertifications (e.g. CCNA, Microsoft, or VMware certifications) are a plus o
