Our CORE VALUES : · Integrity · System · Consistency · Forward Looking · Humanity,and · Environmental Friendly Data Entry Officer Work Location: Central,Singapore Job Type : 3 Months Contract,subject to renewal About the Role: We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Data Entry Officer to support data migration activities as part of ongoing technology initiatives.This temporary position is responsible for accurately migrating and translating data from Microsoft Excel worksheets into the required database template structure, ensuring data quality, consistency, and completeness throughout the process. Working closely with internal stakeholders and project teams, the Data Entry Officer will perform data verification, resolve data discrepancies, maintain accurate documentation, and support the timely completion of assigned tasks. Experience with Microsoft Excel, including Power Automate and Macros, is preferred to improve efficiency and streamline data processing. Primary Responsibilities: Accurately migrate and translate data from Microsoft Excel worksheets into the required database template structure in accordance with established guidelines and project requirements. Verify, validate, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity before and after migration. Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, formatting issues, and incomplete records, escalating issues where appropriate. Perform data cleansing, standardization, and formatting activities to ensure compatibility with target database requirements. Maintain accurate records of completed work, data changes, and migration activities to support project tracking and audit requirements. Assist in testing and validating migrated data to ensure successful data import and compliance with quality standards. Utilise Microsoft Excel functions, formulas, and other productivity tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data processing activities. Support the use of Microsoft Power Automate and Excel Macros, where applicable, to streamline repetitive data entry and migration tasks. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project teams to clarify data requirements, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables. Adhere to organisational policies, data confidentiality requirements, and information security standards when handling business information. Perform other related tasks as when required. Job Requirements: A minimum of a Diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in data entry, data migration, administrative support, or a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, formulas, sorting, filtering, and spreadsheet management. Experience in migrating and translating data between Excel worksheets and database templates or enterprise systems is advantageous. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and Excel Macros is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when processing large volumes of data. Good analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies. Ability to manage assigned tasks effectively, prioritize workload, and meet project timelines in a fast paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team. Demonstrates integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information and adhering to organisational policies and data security requirements.
