Service Enginer

CANDIDATE MUST BE A GOC CERTIFICATE HOLDER AND TRAINED FOR JRC EQUIPMENT. HE SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HMI AND PCB DESIGNING AND TROUBLE SHOOTING Maritime navigation system. Assist in Radio survey of GMDSS equipment. Installation/troubleshooting/servicing in Marine navigation systems such as Marine Radar, Gyro compass, Magnetic compass, autopilot, echo sounder, speed log, steering – FFU/NFU, weather fax, wind speed/direction etc Marine Telecommunication Systems Installation/troubleshooting/servicing in communication systems such as GMDSS, VHF/UHF, MF/HF SSB, NBDP, NDB, Navtex, Inmarsat, FBB, Local Area networks, email system etc. Off-landed repair of faulty equipment in the workshop Prepare the service reports after completion of jobs Requirements Formal education in Electrical and/or Electronic equipment. Should have GOC for carrying out Radio Survey and should have makers training and aproval for Marine Communication Equipment.. Trained in Good communication and writing skills, interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and an aptitude for detail Good team player who is able to work with other team members Have an analytical and open mind, and be self-driven Ability to travel for overseas jobs and trainings
