Assistant Events & Wedding Manager (Malay Weddings)

Assistant Wedding & Events Manager Salary: S$2,700–S$3,000 (commensurate with experience) About the Role We are looking for a passionate and responsible Assistant Wedding & Events Manager to join our growing team. Training will be provided. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting clients, planning weddings, and ensuring every event runs smoothly. This position is focused on Malay weddings, so experience or familiarity with Malay wedding traditions and coordination is an advantage. Key Responsibilities * Meet and consult with prospective wedding clients. * Follow up on enquiries and assist in converting bookings. * Coordinate weddings and events from planning to execution. * Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams. * Manage wedding day operations and ensure events run smoothly. * Supervise part-time staff and maintain excellent customer service. * Handle administrative duties related to weddings and events. * Design simple marketing materials and social media posts using Canva. * Maintain event records, reports, and administrative tasks using Microsoft Excel. * Resolve issues professionally and provide an exceptional client experience. Requirements * Experience in the wedding, events, hospitality, banquet, or customer service industry is an advantage. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Organised, responsible, and able to multitask. * Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. * Able to work independently and under pressure. * Must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays, as required by event schedules. * Basic knowledge of Canva and Microsoft Excel.
