As we work toward our Future Forward 2030 vision, we remain committed to: Tackling the growing prevalence of kidney failure Enhancing patient support and care Leveraging technology to improve the efficacy and quality of treatment We are seeking passionate Staff Nurses to join our nursing team and embark on an exciting renal career specialising in dialysis care. The role requires maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of dialysis therapy as prescribed. Key Responsibilities: Provide a high standard of nursing care to renal patients as part of the multidisciplinary dialysis centre team. Oversee and assist in patient education, ensuring patients understand their treatment and care requirements. Maintain accurate nursing records and provide comprehensive nursing handovers. Collaborate closely with Clinical Nurse Managers on administrative duties and centre management. Be assigned to one of NKF’s conveniently located dialysis centres island-wide. Requirements: Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (mandatory). Training provided for candidates without prior renal experience. Ability to work in rotation shifts on a 5-day workweek (Monday to Saturday): Morning Shift: 6.30am – 4.00pm Afternoon Shift: 2.00pm – 11.30pm Must be willing and able to work public holidays and Saturdays as required. Key Skills & Competencies: Clinical Nursing Skills: Proficient in delivering safe and effective nursing care, with the ability to monitor and manage patients undergoing dialysis. Patient Education: Skilled at educating patients on treatment procedures, diet, medication, and lifestyle modifications to improve outcomes. Communication: Clear and compassionate communication with patients, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care. Record Keeping: Accurate and timely documentation of nursing care, treatment sessions, and patient progress. Team Collaboration: Works effectively within a multidisciplinary team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment. Adaptability: Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays, adjusting to the dynamic dialysis centre environment. Problem Solving: Able to identify issues quickly and respond appropriately to patient needs or operational challenges.
