Job Description Vacuum and mop the centre premises Wipe all the shelves, cupboards, teachers’ lockers, tables & chairs (Daily) Wipe/Scrub bag cubby holes, shoe cubby holes, window ledges (Weekly) Wash all the toilets Throw rubbish after lunch and before leaving the centre Disinfect the mattresses after children’s naptime Keep logs to track the records of cleaning duties Order cleaning products Takes over Cook’s duties when the Cook is absent Job Requirements Must have experience as a cleaner Must be comfortable to work around preschool children Prefer to have candidates with working experience in a childcare environment Prefer to have candidates with food hygiene certificate
