Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Walking distance from Bendemeer/Lavender mrt Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm Salary: $4000 - $6000 Responsibilities Manage pre and post tender activities including quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions. Prepare and review contracts, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts. Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Monitor and control project budgets, implementing cost-saving and value engineering measures. Conduct site surveys and participate in measurements and valuations with clients and subcontractors. Coordinate with sales, design and project teams on all contractual and M&E matters. Analyze tender returns for cost competitiveness and contractual compliance. Support project teams with technical proposals, progress tracking, and resolution of contractual issues. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Min 3 years of relevant experience in commercial construction projects. Proficient in tools for quantity take-off and technical drawings. Familiar with contract administration, project budgeting, and cost control practices. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
