6723 - Apparel Designer Cum Merchandising Assistant

Working Days: 5 Day A week (Mon - Fri) Working hours: 8:30am-5:30pm (Lunch: 12noon-1pm) Working Location: Kallang Salary: $2400-$2700 Responsibilities Keeping up-to-date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes. Creating/visualizing an idea and producing a design by using a computer-aided design program. Understanding design and preparing specifications from a technical perspective to ensure samples & production are smooth. Working with the Marketing and Production teams to develop products that suit customers’ requirements and price points. Arrange QC to ensure samples are done right, and feedback to factories. Prepare documents and samples for tenders and projects. Sourcing, selecting, buying fabrics, trims, and accessories to propose to customers and update the library references. Assisting, coordinating, and supporting the Merchandising/Marketing team with marketing needs and production needs. Able to travel when necessary.
