Lecturer (Business & Marketing) Salary: $4,500 - $7,000 Location: Central Working Hours: Mon – Thurs 8.30am – 6pm / Fri 8.30am – 5.30pm Responsibilities Teach Marketing modules across undergraduate, postgraduate programmes and short courses, and contribute to other business disciplines such as Management, Communication or Human Resource Management. Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops and other learning activities, including overseas delivery where required. Undertake Programme Leader and Module Leader responsibilities, including programme administration, curriculum development and academic delivery. Develop and review curriculum, course materials and assessments to ensure alignment with learning outcomes, quality standards and university partner requirements. Set, mark and moderate coursework and examinations, including assessment reviews, result moderation and appeal assessments. Manage Associate Lecturers through induction, classroom observations and staff development activities. Support university audits, site visits, programme reviews and related quality assurance documentation. Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, dissertations and research work. Provide academic guidance and learning support to students, monitor academic progress and engagement, and advise on career opportunities and further studies. Develop blended and online learning strategies using Learning Management Systems and digital learning tools. Support academic partnerships, new programme development, approval processes and industry collaboration initiatives. Engage in scholarly and professional activities, including research-related activities and maintaining AACSB faculty qualification standards. Participate in academic meetings, student engagement activities, school events, marketing initiatives and other assigned projects. Requirements Doctorate in any Business discipline. At least a pass at GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent in the language medium of the programme/module. 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, with teaching experience preferred. Experience or knowledge in module and/or programme leadership, development and administration within a higher education environment. Experience teaching business disciplines such as Consumer Behaviour, International Marketing, Social Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Services Marketing, Marketing Research, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Advertising and Brand Management. Professional certifications (e.g. Google certification), teaching qualifications (e.g. ACTA, ACLP or DACE) and experience managing university programmes from the UK, Australia or New Zealand will be advantageous.
