Location: Tampines, Singapore Contract Period: August 2026 to December 2027, with an option to extend Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm ABOUT THE ROLE A government junior college in Tampines is seeking an Operations Executive to support its estate, facilities, safety, security, logistics and campus relocation functions. This is a full-time contract position involving the coordination of day-to-day campus operations, maintenance activities, contractors, building services, institutional events and relocation-related activities. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, service providers, consultants and contractors to maintain a safe and operationally ready campus environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Estate and Facilities Management Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of classrooms, offices, laboratories, sports facilities, common areas and other campus premises. Conduct routine premises inspections, identify defects and follow up with contractors on rectification works. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with Facilities Management Engineers. Monitor Integrated Facilities Management services and contractor performance. Support infrastructure upgrading, renovation and facilities improvement projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, warranties and asset information. Campus Relocation and Project Support Support the planning, coordination and operational readiness of campus relocation activities. Coordinate with architects, consultants, project managers, contractors and other stakeholders on operational requirements. Plan and coordinate the relocation of furniture, equipment, archives and operational assets between campuses. Develop and implement relocation plans, movement schedules and logistics arrangements. Maintain relocation inventories, tracking records and supporting documentation. Security and Safety Oversee daily security operations and coordinate with security personnel. Conduct security inspections and operational risk assessments. Support incident investigations and prepare incident reports. Coordinate emergency preparedness exercises, including fire drills, lockdown exercises and evacuations. Monitor access control, CCTV, alarm and visitor management systems. Cleaning and Environmental Services Monitor cleaning contractors to ensure that required cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained. Coordinate pest control, waste management, landscaping and other environmental services. Conduct regular inspections and follow up on operational feedback. Event and Logistics Management Plan and coordinate logistical support for examinations, ceremonies, school events and external functions. Arrange venue setup, furniture movement, transport, signage and audio-visual requirements. Asset and Inventory Management Manage furniture, operational equipment and facilities-related assets. Coordinate stocktaking and inventory activities. Maintain accurate and updated asset records. Building Services Management Coordinate and monitor building services, including:Air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systemsElectrical and plumbing systemsFire protection systemsLifts and building management systemsPublic address systemsCCTV and access control systemsIP telephony and audio-visual systems Compliance and Documentation Maintain operational records, statutory documentation and maintenance schedules. Support compliance with applicable institutional policies, statutory regulations and workplace safety requirements. Prepare reports, operational updates and presentations as required. REQUIREMENTS Nitec, Higher Nitec or an equivalent qualification in facilities management, building services, engineering, estate management, operations management or a related technical or operational discipline. At least three years of relevant experience in facilities, estate, transport, institutional operations or operational support. Relevant experience should include a combination of the following:Coordinating daily operationsConducting equipment, premises or safety checksResponding to and escalating operational incidentsCoordinating logistics activitiesWorking with internal and external stakeholdersFollowing up on maintenance or defect rectificationPreparing and maintaining operational records Proficiency in commonly used office productivity applications, such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or equivalent platforms.
