We are looking for a dynamic and energetic team-player who is keen to join us with the following job responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY This is a Permanent Part-Time role. The Retail Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the ThomsonBaby retail shop. The role includes assisting customers with product recommendations and purchase of products and services, answering enquiries, handling cashiering duties, restocking and maintaining merchandise displays, and supporting operational and administrative processes, including PR/PO/GR tasks and marketplace order management. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Retail Shop: Greet customers and make them feel welcomed. Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable shop front. Be attentive to customers, providing answers to any questions. Make recommendations to customers based on customers’ needs. Assist shoppers with merchandise (proper sizing, color choices, collecting items from back inventory if needed, etc. Restock items that are running low and maintain proper merchandise display. Assist with inventory counts, placement of new products, including new in-store or window displays. Keep a watchful eye for theft or mishandling of merchandise, act according to company policy. Ensure customers are well-informed of any ongoing promotions, campaigns, and store return policy. Process payments by using the cash register, credit card machines, and/or POS (point of sale). Perform daily opening duties to prepare the shop for operations, and support end-of-day closing procedures when required. Follow all company’s policies and procedures. Attend to enquiries from walk-in customers. Administrative & Marketplace Support: Assist with administrative tasks including PR/PO/GR processing. Key in Shopee/Lazada/Marketplace sales into POS or internal systems. Work closely with the retail supervisor to maintain accurate stock and sales records. Support other operational and administrative tasks as required. Thomson Confinement Food Sales and Support: Attend to enquiries from walk-in customers. Actively promoting and selling Confinement Food (walk in customer, Hospital Tour Visitor). Support the team in Sales, activation, feedback where required. SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES To assist in departmental administration matters. To support any other initiatives or tasks, where required JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum GCE 'O' Level qualification or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales and customer service. Strong sales aptitude with a customer-focused mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experienced in handling online sales transactions and responding to customer inquiries via digital platforms.
