Actuarial Assistant Manager

Job Description Maintain and enhance the actuarial models. Ensure that actuarial models used for the above activities are accurate, efficient and well documented according to the modelling controls and governance. Manage model governance and validation in accordance with internal policy which includes reviewing procedures to maintain model integrity and appropriate model documentation. Assist in any ad-hoc actuarial investigations and corporate initiatives from time to time. Assist Chief Actuary in monitoring and reporting of value of new businesses, embedded value, solvency projection and other on-going financial condition and performance. Prepare movement analysis, attribution, and explanation of changes in the results under various reporting. Conduct experience studies to assist Chief Actuary in formulating the best estimate assumptions. Preparation of business planning exercise, analysis of potential surplus arising and making recommendations. Job Requirements Minimum Degree in Actuarial Science. Minimum 3 - 4 years of working experience in actuarial field. Good mathematical and analytical skills. Good communication skills, both written and spoken. Able to work independently, self-motivated and outcome oriented. Meticulous with a keen eye for detail. Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Access). Intermediate to advance knowledge of actuarial projection software: Prophet, DCS.
