Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant prepares a working space in a dental facility for dental examinations and procedures. Job duties include the preparation of dental instruments and materials for the dentist and ensuring they are properly sterilised. He/She also handles administrative tasks, such as scheduling of appointments and filing dental records. ~ Assist Dentists during dental treatment ~ Assist in performing of dental radiography ~ Assist to order dental supplies when supplies are low in stock ~ Educate patients on dental and post-operative care ~ Handle patient registration and appointment scheduling ~ Handle telephone and walk-in enquiries ~ Mix material for fillings ~ Perform general administrative duties ~ Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment ~ Willing to work saturdays
