Hardware Technician - Automotive

Job Summary Join Tribecar as a Technical Assistant to support hardware deployment and system integration for our car-sharing service. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with telematics equipment installation and vehicle system maintenance. Responsibilities Install, remove, and troubleshoot telematics equipment in vehicles to ensure proper functionality Conduct stock taking to maintain accurate inventory levels of hardware components Assemble basic system parts and hardware components for deployment Coordinate with clients to schedule installation appointments efficiently Monitor and oversee system health to identify and resolve technical issues promptly Required competencies and certifications Hold a valid Class 2B or 3 driving license to operate vehicles safely Preferred competencies and qualifications Demonstrate basic computer operation skills to support technical tasks Familiarity with vehicles accessories Show familiarity with web technologies to assist in system integration Understand vehicle accessories to facilitate installation and troubleshooting Open to individuals with no experience in this field
