About this role

The Chef is responsible for managing kitchen operations, creating and preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of dishes according to menu requirements and quality standards. Create and develop new recipes, menus, and food concepts. Ensure all food is prepared with high standards of taste, quality, and presentation. Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations. Implement HACCP procedures and maintain proper food handling practices. Manage kitchen operations during service periods to ensure smooth workflow. Assign daily tasks and ensure staff follow kitchen procedures. Order, inspect, and properly store ingredients and kitchen supplies. Minimize food waste through proper planning and portion control. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the kitchen area. Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly and maintained properly. Work closely with management to improve menu quality and kitchen efficiency. Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Qualifications Several years of professional cooking experience, with leadership experience in a kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and menu planning. Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. Leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
