About this role

Company Overview We are a machine shop specializing in tubular threading, repair, and surface treatment services for the Oil and Gas Industry. Responsibilities: Quality Planning & Control Prepare Quality Plans for pre-production meetings with third party inspectors. Control and maintain measuring instruments and gauges for production activities. Ensure work order documents are reviewed and executed according to specifications. Quality Management System & Compliance Uphold QMS (API, JFE) to meet customer and regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain quality procedures, standards, and specifications. Coordinate audits by external bodies and ensure readiness for inspections. Maintain regulatory certifications and capability listings. Supplier & Production Quality Work with PIC to define supplier quality requirements. Perform audits on suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct acceptance tests for first articles and incoming components. Ensure finished goods meet quality assurance standards. Continuous Improvement & CAPA Initiate action plans to prevent product nonconformity. Investigate non-conformance and customer complaints; implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement in products and operations. Implement production improvement projects (yield, quality, productivity). Leadership & Reporting Mentor and train operator. Monitor performance, gather data, and produce statistical reports. Analyze and report internal/external quality performance. Create and maintain quality documentation (manuals, procedures). Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience. Knowledge with API 5B, 5CT & Spec 7 specifications. Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard. Preferably with Internal Audit cert & API Q1 Practitioner cert. Adaptability and flexibility to changing business environment and internal challenges. Process initiatives, logical thinking and good analytical abilities, and able to resolve issues from multiple perspectives. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
