About this role
Key Responsibilities Site Supervision Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site. Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and construction methods. Monitor work progress and ensure project milestones are achieved. Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently. Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimise project delays. Workforce Management Supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and site personnel. Assign daily work tasks and monitor productivity. Conduct daily toolbox meetings and communicate work instructions. Monitor workers' attendance, discipline, and performance. Train and mentor junior supervisors and site workers where required. Quality Control Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. Identify defects and coordinate rectification works. Ensure materials used on site comply with project specifications. Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies. Enforce safe work practices and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Report safety hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly. Coordinate with the Safety Officer to implement corrective actions. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite. Coordination Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Coordinate material deliveries and equipment requirements. Attend site meetings and assist in resolving technical and operational issues. Ensure works are carried out according to the approved construction programme. Documentation & Reporting Prepare daily site reports and progress updates. Maintain records of manpower, equipment, materials, inspections, and site activities. Report project progress, delays, and issues to the Project Manager. Assist in preparing documentation for inspections and project handover. Requirements Diploma, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction site supervision. Good knowledge of construction methods, site operations, and project coordination. Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and industry standards. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
