Bar Assistant

General Duties & Responsibilities: Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene behind the bar Throwing of trash, maintaining SOP behind the bar Ensuring that bar is fully stocked at all times Restocking of bar glasses, napkins, straws etc. Tracking of inventory Assisting in preparation for business hours and table set up Practice safe work habits and take a consultative role in assisting and maintaining a clean, tidy work area and a healthy and safe working environment Ensure that all equipment is kept in good working order and used only for the purpose for which it was ended Assisting Bartenders/Mixologist with any ad-hoc request Any other duties may be assigned from time to time Job Requirements: No minimum experience needed but you must have an interest or passion in the cocktail industry Knowledge in maintaining bar Positive and excellent communication skills Guest driven, Outgoing and Friendly Attention to detail is essential Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees Positive, motivated, passionate and seeks opportunities to be multi-skilled and trained Must be physically fit to carry bar equipment and stocks Applicants are invited to send in your updated resume, indicating your prior experiences in the relevant sector.
