Job Summary The Commissioning Technician is responsible for installing, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems to ensure they operate safely and in accordance with project specifications and standards. Responsibilities Install electrical and mechanical systems and equipment following project specifications and safety standards Perform functional tests, inspections, and performance checks according to technical drawings and specifications Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve faults during testing and commissioning to ensure system reliability Assist engineers with system start-up and site acceptance tests to verify operational readiness Prepare accurate test records, commissioning reports, and handover documents for project documentation Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety regulations and project requirements Coordinate effectively with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to support smooth commissioning processes Provide technical support during defect rectification and warranty periods to maintain system performance Required competencies and certifications Diploma/ITE or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures for electrical/mechanical systems Competence in fault finding and problem-solving during commissioning activities Familiarity with site safety procedu…
