UCT is looking for a talented Materials Program Mgr I to join us in Singapore! Job Summary: The Materials Program Manager will work with various functions and departments to drive material flow and ensure visibility of current & future material issues. It will be the core member to supporting materials strategy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with Planner to ensure visibility of current & future material issues Work with Production Managers to understand Critical Production schedules Coordinates demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure. Works with engineering to identify preliminary critical parts, long-lead parts and inspection requirements. Assists in developing supplier and commodity road maps to engineering. Material risk BOM analysis at project level : Design and collaboration with SCM on the inventory programs: VOI, JIT, discrete orders, etc. – driving lead-time reduction Recommend risk buy or consignment (This relates to impact inventory liability, inventory turns, cash flow relief, etc. – due to upsides, downside, slow down of businesses more effectively) Burst demand request by customers – assess entire BOM materials lead-times, chronic suppliers, customer managed allocations , etc., then present from materials perspective how to support burst demand plan to support operations Work closely with Supply Chain Program managers for localization…
