Planner

Job Description: Plan and monitor material requirements based on production schedules and customer demand. Review forecasts and generate purchase requisitions (PRs) to ensure sufficient material supply. Track supplier deliveries and expedite orders to prevent production shortages. Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to avoid excess or obsolete inventory. Analyze material shortages and develop recovery plans with suppliers and internal teams. Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow. Update and maintain material planning data, including lead times, safety stock, and planning parameters in the ERP system. Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring material readiness. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and supply chain performance. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain operations. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. This role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted production, meeting customer delivery commitments, and maintaining efficient inventory levels.
