Location: 1781 Geylang Bahru, #01-02 Kallang Distripark, Singapore 339707 (Nearest MRT: Geylang Bahru ) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Starting from SGD $2,200 / month + Overtime (OT) Pay (if applicable) Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Job Overview: Uni Cheng Trading Co. is an established importer and wholesaler specializing in metals, steel pipes, construction materials, and industrial hardware. We are seeking a hardworking and physically fit Warehouse Assistant cum Delivery Driver to manage our industrial inventory at Kallang Distripark and safely execute daily deliveries across Singapore using our company's 14ft lorry . Key Responsibilities: 14ft Lorry Driving: Drive and operate a 14ft company lorry to deliver heavy metals, steel pipes, construction materials, and hardware safely to clients island-wide. Loading & Unloading: Handle the physical loading and unloading of heavy, bulky industrial goods from the delivery vehicle. Cargo Security: Ensure all loads on the 14ft lorry are properly lashed, tied down, and balanced before transit to maintain safety standards. Warehouse Management: Support daily warehouse operations including stock receiving, picking, packing, sorting, and arranging inventory on storage racks. Delivery Paperwork: Ensure all Delivery Orders (DO) are accurately signed and stamped by customers upon delivery, reporting any discrepancies. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily safety checks on the 14ft lorry (brakes, tires, fuel) and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained. Requirements: License: Must hold a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record and prior experience operating a 14ft lorry . Physical Fitness: Physically strong and capable of performing heavy manual lifting and labor daily. Forklift License: A valid Singapore Forklift License is a significant advantage due to the weight of the items. Language: Basic proficiency in English to read delivery orders and interact with customers.
