Kitchen Assistant

Job Requirements The Snr./Cook will be required to assist with the following basic food preparation tasks and be capable of instructing subordinates to: Food preparation and cooking for residents and employees Preparation of foods which are to be served as part of special or therapeutic diets for residents Ensure food are stored in the correct temperatures Ensure food are correctly labelled and expiry dates are strictly adhered Oversee the preparation and distribution of meal distribution Assist with menu planning Minimizes food waste through proper control of portioning and storage of food items Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen Ensure members of the Kitchen team are following food safety procedures in the kitchen Clean and perform basic maintenance of stoves, work area etc. Dispose garbage from the food service area Qualification and Experiences O' Level or equivalent qualification Basic Food Hygiene certificate (WSQ Food & Beverage Safety & Hygiene Policies and Procedures) At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
