Technical Lead

We are looking for Tech Lead position : Please refer : Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery of Corporate Banking systems and applications. Work closely with business users, product owners, and project managers to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. Architect, design, and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE frameworks and microservices on OpenShift container platform. Manage code quality, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure for CI/CD, deployment, and production support. Oversee technical documentation, system design, and configuration management. Mentor developers and ensure continuous technical improvement within the team. Support integration with banking systems such as Payments, Liquidity, Trade, and Treasury modules. Communicate effectively with both English and Mandarin speaking stakeholders, including regional teams and vendors. Technical Skills Required: Programming: Strong proficiency in Java / J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture. Platform: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift (containerization, deployment, scaling, and monitoring). Database: Proficiency in MySQL (schema design, query optimization, stored procedures). DevOps Tools: CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar. Cloud / Container Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes (added advantage). System Integration: SOAP/REST APIs, MQ, and event-driven integration patterns. Security: Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, SSL, and application security standards. Performance Tuning: Experience in optimizing backend systems for scalability and low latency. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 8–10 years of experience in enterprise application development and system integration. At least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership or solution lead role within Corporate/Wholesale Banking domain. Hands-on experience designing and deploying applications on OpenShift. Prior exposure to Corporate Banking products and workflows such as Payments, Accounts, Liquidity, or Cash Management preferred. Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (verbal and written) to work with regional stakeholders and vendors. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
