Assistant Electrician

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and responsible Building Electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Key Responsibilities: Carry out troubleshooting and repair of electrical faults. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems. Install, replace and maintain lighting fixtures, power points, switches, distribution boards and related electrical equipment. Attend to emergency electrical breakdowns and rectify faults promptly. Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations. Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. Ensure all electrical works comply with Singapore safety regulations and standards. Prepare service reports and maintain proper documentation. Work independently or as part of a maintenance team. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building electrical maintenance. Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance. Able to use electrical testing instruments and hand tools. Able to work at heights when required. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn. Ability to work overtime when required. Working Hours: Monday to Saturday. Must be willing to work on weekends, public holidays, overtime, and after office hours when required to attend emergency breakdowns and scheduled maintenance works.
