The WSH Coordinator plays a key role in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment across all project sites. This position supports the implementation of the Company’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management systems and ensures compliance with applicable regulatory and customer safety requirements. The role is critical in identifying risks, facilitating audits, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization. Responsibilities To evaluate and/or inspect site activities, workplace environment and practices to ensure compliance with Company’s, customers’ Safety Standards and government regulations Identify any unsafe work practices or work condition and recommend remedy Assist in conducting investigation on any unsafe workplace practices, near miss incident and/ or work injury related incident to identify causes and corrective action(s) Conduct and/or review Risk Assessments and assists to identify and assess risks arising from the workplace Coordinate and maintain records of site safety orientation and daily tools box meeting Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements Assist in preparation of various reports, documents and forms for ISO, safety and/ or customer’s audit Any other ad hoc duties assigned by superior Requirement MUST HAVE at least 2-3 years’ relevant working experience in Jurong Island, Occupational Safety and Health in Process industry or downstream maintenance environment At least GCE “O” level with Advanced Certificate in WSH or Diploma related to Workplace Safety and Health. Possess valid training certificates for SWSHPP/OPISC, SWCSO and/ or CSSA will be advantage Good knowledge of Singapore regulations relating to Workplace Safety and Health Have a good sense of urgency, meticulous and demonstrate initiative with good follow-up skills Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills, able to communicate with all level of employee as well as business associates Able to work independently, multitask, good team player and work in fast paced environment Must possess own transportation Proficient in Microsoft office applications Other Information: 5.5 day work week : Monday to Friday, (8.00am - 5.00pm); Saturday (8.00am – 12.00pm)
