Locum Staff Nurse (Senior Care Centre)

This position is based in Bukit Batok Care Home. Contract: 6 months Providing Quality Care Work with the Centre Manager to analyse and evaluate nursing care plan provided for the clients Co-ordinate with Nursing Aides / Assistants and Healthcare Assistants to implement care plan such as medication, hygiene care, social and physical activities for the clients Identify symptoms of the clients that are related to illnesses and / or decline in functional and cognitive abilities and advocate early medical attention Training & Development Mentor and guide the Nursing Aides / Assistants and Healthcare Assistants in performing their functional duties Participate in relevant quality improvement and assessment activities Administration and Management Educate family members of clients on the clients’ health conditions and help them gain understanding on the holistic care provided Ensure all documentation of the clients’ case is maintained appropriately Deputise the Centre Manager in his / her absence Any other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager Educational Requirements Degree / Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution as approved by Singapore Nursing Board Years of Experience At least 3.5 years of experience, preferably from the public healthcare or nursing home sector InterRAI Checkup training completed
