In-Room Dining (IRD) Supervisor As an In-Room Dining Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of our In-Room Dining team, ensuring every guest receives seamless, personalised service from order to delivery. Through your leadership, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality, you will inspire your team to create exceptional dining experiences that reflect the charm and character of our Tribute Portfolio brand. What You Will Be Doing Supervise the daily operations of the In-Room Dining department to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent service Lead, coach, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in accordance with Marriott brand standards Monitor service quality, food presentation, and delivery times to ensure operational excellence Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and service recovery promptly and professionally Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless operations Assist with scheduling, manpower planning, and daily task allocation to optimise productivity Train, mentor, and develop team members while supporting onboarding and performance improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Monitor inventory levels of operating equipment, amenities, and service supplies, and assist with ordering when required Prepare operational reports, maintain departmental records, and communicate shift handovers effectively Support departmental initiatives, special events, VIP amenities, and continuous service improvement projects Lead by example by maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and guest-focused mindset What We Are Looking For Prior supervisory experience in In-Room Dining, Restaurant, or Food & Beverage operations within a 4- or 5-star hotel Pre-opening hotel experience is an added advantage Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and service standards Proficient in handling guest feedback and implementing effective service recovery Able to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment Able to start work within short notice Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays Why Join Us?
