Job Summary The Manager, IT Applications will help to manage the project deployment, administrate, support and maintain enterprise applications which includes documentation and user training. 10% to 20% travelling might be expected for this role. Key Responsibilities Supporting enterprise system project deployment in regional level Manage projects and support across multiple countries i.e. Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, etc. Collaborate with Finance Project Lead and countries Finance to define system requirements and configurations, drawing on ERP best practices e.g. P2P process, reporting process etc. Evaluate functional spec documents / technical spec documents / design documents for any enhancements Work closely with IT management team / external partners to implement better governance e.g. CI/CD process etc. Administrate, support and maintain enterprise applications primarily on Business Central & Jet report a. user account management b. investigating and diagnosing system faults and errors c. problem resolution in both the long and short term d. performing routine system backups and upgrades e. monitoring, recording and responding to requests for support f. communicating messages regarding systems issues/change to users Act as internal resource to train and advise solutions on enterprise applications Identifying and maintaining configuration changes in applications so that they meet business requirements Evaluate change requests in terms of business impact, impact of system customization Liaise with third party vendor(s) in the enhancement & implementation of existing / new application Manage vendors by ensuring regular e.g. weekly discussions on on-going support and enhancements Lead the roll-out of application releases (enhancement/new implementation), including documentation, user acceptance test, and go-live Conduct users training jointly together with external vendor Work within IT team alongside software developers to deliver the management reports through data warehouse & Power BI Support digitalization initiatives to derive business values through leveraging on new technologies Identify opportunities for system integrations – especially between Business Central and add-on systems Job Requirements Degree in information system or equivalents A minimum of 5 years' experience in handling Business Central projects Well versed with database knowledge (i.e. SQL/DWH) and Business intelligence tools (Tableau/Power BI) Applications rollout experience, Business Central must Proficient in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of application programming will take advantage, such as SQL/VB/C/.Net/etc Good understanding of overall business process, corporate finance, and accounting Proactive, analytical ability with strong problem-solving skills Ability to multi-tasking and work with highly confidential information
