About the job Vertis Digital Pte Ltd is a Singapore-headquartered digital experience agency with operations across Singapore, India and Malaysia supported by offshore teams. We are seeking a People Operations & Corporate Governance Lead to independently lead and manage people operations, corporate administration, governance, and compliance across our regional entities and offshore teams. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership and accountability for the regional people function, serving as the primary point of contact for people operations, governance, and administrative matters across the organisation. The role requires a fully independent professional who can drive processes, manage priorities, and deliver outcomes hands on. Key Responsibilities Independently manage end-to-end people operations across all offices, covering the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, compensation administration, statutory compliance, performance management, offboarding, and employee engagement and relations. Lead and maintain the company's ISO 27001 and CSA STAR Level 2 management systems end to end, covering governance frameworks, documentation control, risk management, internal audits, corrective actions, and external certification and attestation audits. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, operational SOPs, governance frameworks, and documentation standards across multiple jurisdictions. Manage cross-border team coordination, organisational structure, and workforce operations across Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Bangladesh. Demonstrate flexibility to work staggered hours on occasion to support operational requirements and collaboration across regional time zones. Partner directly with the Team Leads / Management on organisational planning, business operations, resource utilisation, operational improvements, and execution of strategic initiatives across regional entities Review project timesheets, monitor resource utilisation, and ensure accurate project hour tracking in a project-based digital services environment. Administer the organisation's Microsoft 365 environment. Design, develop, and deliver in-house training programmes, coach, and mentor employees across all levels of the organisation. Support finance and corporate operations, including invoicing coordination, expense management, budget tracking, and operational reporting. Full ownership of corporate and office administration and facilities management across locations. Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, certification bodies, corporate secretarial firms, and government agencies. Requirements and Qualifications Minimum 6 years’ experience in People Operations and Business Operations, with demonstrated exposure to regional governance, compliance, corporate administration, and office administration. Proven track record of technology talent acquisition across Southeast and South Asian markets (e.g., Singapore, India, Bangladesh). Proven hands-on experience leading ISO 27001 and CSA STAR Level 2 management systems through successful external certification audits. Strong working knowledge of HR practices, employment processes, compliance requirements, and employee relations. Demonstrated ability to independently manage a regional people operations and governance function as the primary owner, with strong accountability for end-to-end delivery. Experience managing distributed teams and offshore resources across Southeast Asia and South Asia. Experience managing timesheet processes, resource utilisation tracking, and operational reporting in a project-based or digital services environment. Experience in employee coaching, mentoring, and delivering internal training programmes. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise collaboration tools.
