What You’ll Do 1. Internal Corporate ESG Reporting & Compliance Drive Annual Reporting: Support the end-to-end preparation, drafting, and coordination of the firm's annual sustainability report and climate-related disclosures. Framework Alignment: Help align internal reporting with recognized local/global standards. Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up to date on Singapore’s mandatory climate reporting timelines to ensure the firm remains fully compliant and audit-ready. 2. Carbon Accounting & Environmental Data Ownership Data Collection & Verification: Coordinate with internal teams and project surveyors to gather relevant data. GHG Footprint Calculation: Calculate the firm's Scope 1 and Scope 2 operational carbon emissions—and screen key Scope 3 categories—using standard GHG Protocol methodologies and local emission factors. Database Maintenance: Build, update, and maintain internal data logs, calculation models, and audit trails for accurate year-over-year performance tracking. 3. Sustainable Materials & Internal Circularity Operational Decarbonization: Research low-carbon material alternatives and collect Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for building maintenance and internal Repair & Refurbishment (R&R) projects. Supplier Engagement: Liaise with vendors to assess the availability, pricing, and feasibility of sustainable, low-carbon, or recycled-content supplies in Singapore. Resource Efficiency: Identify internal opportunities for waste diversion, energy reduction, and material reuse aligned with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030. What We’re Looking For Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project, Environmental Science, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Built Environment, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. Engineers Welcome: Mechanical Engineering graduates are strongly encouraged to apply—your understanding of building systems, ACMV performance, and energy efficiency adds direct value to carbon tracking workflows. Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with strong internship experience, capstone projects, or academic coursework in corporate sustainability or carbon management are warmly invited to apply. Key Skills & Traits Data Meticulousness: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data cleaning, formulas, structured models). You take pride in data hygiene and double-checking numbers. GHG Protocol Knowledge: Foundational understanding of the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard (Scope 1, 2, and basic Scope 3 concepts). Clear Communication: Ability to write concise, professional text for report chapters and communicate comfortably with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
