Role Overview This role directly supports Vista Hub's growth and client delivery. You will identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain the operational infrastructure that keeps the practice running efficiently. The position spans the full business cycle, from prospecting new clients through to supporting active engagements. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of business growth and substantive research in one of SEA's most dynamic sectors. You will work directly with an experienced founder-advisor and gain meaningful exposure to the full arc of the biotech and healthtech commercialisation journey, from identifying funding opportunities to supporting founders in bringing innovations to market. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Business Development • Research and maintain a Prospect Pipeline Database identifying target clients (incubators, accelerators, hospital innovation offices, university tech transfer offices, and family offices active in life science) updated weekly with contact details, engagement status, and next actions • Prepare a Weekly Business Development Activity Report summarising outreach completed, responses received, meetings scheduled, and pipeline movement • Draft outreach communications, capability statements, and service proposals tailored to specific prospect segments for Dr. Chan's review and approval • Monitor Singapore and SEA ecosystem events, conferences, and networking opportunities relevant to Vista Hub's target market; maintain an Events & Opportunities Calendar updated monthly Grant & Funding Research • Maintain a live Grant Opportunity Database tracking Singapore and SEA funding programmes (Enterprise Singapore, NRF, MOH, NMRC, and private sources), updated fortnightly with eligibility criteria, quantum, and application timelines • Produce a Grant Opportunity Summary (standardised template) for each relevant funding opportunity, formatted for direct use in client advisory sessions • Maintain a Grant & Regulatory Deadline Calendar, updated fortnightly, covering application windows, reporting deadlines, and regulatory milestones (HSA, FDA, CE Mark) relevant to active and prospective clients • Prepare a New Client Research Pack at the start of each engagement covering the relevant grant landscape and funding options, delivered to Dr. Chan ahead of the first advisory session Operations & Administration • Set up and maintain the Vista Hub Client Research Repository — a structured, indexed shared folder organising all research outputs, BD materials, and client documents by date, client, and deliverable type • Handle vendor correspondence, invoice tracking, and expense records; maintain a Monthly Expense & Invoice Register reconciled at month end • Prepare a Monthly Business Development & Research Report consolidating: prospects contacted, pipeline status, grants tracked, deadlines upcoming, and recommended actions, filed and dated at month end Requirements • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident • Background in life sciences, biotech, healthtech, business development, or a related field • Familiarity with Singapore's startup and innovation funding ecosystem an advantage • Strong research, written communication, and organisational skills • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams independently in a remote, flexible environment • Prior experience in a startup, consulting, incubator, or research environment is a plus
