Senior Manager / Manager (Innovation Hub)

The Senior Manager/Manager, Innovation Hub – Digital Adoption & Communications supports VITAL's digital transformation and AI adoption efforts by increasing awareness, adoption and effective use of digital and AI tools across the organisation. The role focuses on driving adoption outcomes for Innovation Hub initiatives through communications, user engagement, change management and community building. Working with business units, technology partners and users, the job holder will help colleagues understand, adopt and apply digital and AI tools in their work, while building sustainable communities that promote knowledge sharing, experimentation and continuous learning. To be effective in this role, the job holder should have hands-on experience using current digital and AI tools and be able to demonstrate practical applications that improve productivity and work outcomes. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Innovation Hub, the job holder will be responsible for the following: • Drive awareness, understanding and adoption of digital and AI initiatives through targeted communications, engagement activities and user outreach programmes. • Translate digital and AI concepts into practical, relatable use cases and success stories that help colleagues understand how new tools can improve productivity, service delivery and work outcomes. • Engage users and stakeholders to understand needs, identify adoption barriers and improve the user experience of Innovation Hub initiatives. • Support change management efforts for digital and AI initiatives by developing and implementing communication, engagement and enablement activities that encourage the adoption of new tools and ways of working. • Build and sustain peer-learning platforms that promote knowledge sharing, grassroots innovation and continuous learning across VITAL. • Identify, curate and share good practices, practical use cases and lessons learnt to strengthen digital confidence and encourage wider adoption. • Monitor adoption outcomes, user feedback and engagement insights to assess the effectiveness of adoption initiatives and recommend improvements to future programmes and interventions. • Work closely with business units, technology teams, vendors and other stakeholders to coordinate adoption activities and support the successful delivery of Innovation Hub programmes. • Undertake other duties and projects assigned by supervisors in support of Innovation Hub and organisational priorities. • Preferred courses of study in Communications, Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Organisational Development, Digital Transformation or a related discipline are advantageous. • About 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, change management, user adoption, community management, digital enablement or related roles. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex digital and AI concepts into clear, practical and engaging messages for different audiences. • Experience planning and delivering communications, engagement, adoption or change management initiatives. • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence without formal authority and work effectively across different stakeholder groups. • Good understanding of change management and user adoption principles, particularly in supporting the adoption of digital tools, AI solutions and new ways of working. • Experience building and sustaining peer-learning initiatives or similar engagement platforms. • Practical hands-on experience using current digital and AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, generative AI tools, automation tools or other digital productivity solutions, with the ability to demonstrate realistic workplace applications and benefits. • Ability to identify practical use cases and translate them into relatable examples that encourage adoption and behaviour change. • Comfor…
