Job Summary: The Sales Supervisor (Logistics) is responsible for managing logistics sales operations, developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires at least 4 years of experience in logistics sales, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain services , with strong knowledge of customer acquisition and logistics solutions. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise logistics sales activities to achieve company revenue and business growth targets. Lead, guide, and motivate sales team members to meet monthly and annual sales objectives. Develop and execute sales strategies for logistics services, including freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain solutions. Identify and acquire new customers through market research, networking, and business development activities. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Understand customers’ logistics requirements and recommend suitable service solutions. Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and support contract discussions with clients. Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure efficient service delivery. Monitor shipment performance and resolve customer service issues promptly. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management review. Train and support sales staff on logistics services, sales techniques, and customer management. Ensure compliance with company policies and logistics industry standards. Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics sales, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain management . Proven experience in developing customer accounts and achieving sales targets. Strong knowledge of logistics processes, shipping documentation, and customer service requirements. Good negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage sales pipelines and build long-term client relationships. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
