Our client, a leading IT services provider, is seeking an experienced Level 3 Infrastructure Support & Projects Engineer to join their technical team. This role is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure engineer with strong Microsoft technologies expertise who enjoys balancing complex Level 3 support with the design and delivery of enterprise infrastructure projects. This is a third-line technical escalation role with the design, implementation, and deployment of on-premises infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities Level 3 Support Serve as the escalation point for complex Windows Server, virtualisation, networking and Microsoft SDN incidents. Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent resolution of recurring issues. Manage complex support cases through to resolution, including vendor (Microsoft) engagement. Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing. Identify infrastructure risks and implement continuous improvements through automation and best practices. Projects Design, implement and deploy enterprise Microsoft infrastructure solutions. Deliver Windows Server, Hyper-V, clustering, storage and networking projects. Produce technical documentation and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Requirements Essential Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016–2025). Expertise in: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP Certificate Services Hyper-V Windows Failover Clustering Experience supporting and deploying clustered Windows Server environments. Advanced troubleshooting, log analysis and root cause analysis at Level 3. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or valid work pass holder). Preferred Microsoft SDN, including VXLAN, Virtual Networks (vNETs) and micro-segmentation. SAN and Fibre Channel storage integration. Microsoft System Center technologies: Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) Operations Manager (SCOM) Data Protection Manager (DPM) VMware vSphere/ESXi, Citrix Hypervisor/XCP-ng, KVM and Linux administration. Automation using PowerShell, Chef and Puppet. Experience working within ITIL service management environments. Willingness to travel occasionally within APAC for project deployments. Additional Information Participation in a 24/7 support rota is required. Occasional on-call and after-hours work for maintenance windows and project deployments.
