Regional Project Engineer [HVAC / ACMV / Cooling Systems] - Wcan

Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning & Execution Develop project schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Manage end-to-end project execution from planning and installation to commissioning and handover. Coordinate and supervise vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and budget compliance. 2. Technical Management Review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements. Oversee equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system start-up. Investigate and resolve technical issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary. 3. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety standards. Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and other safety documentation. 4. Stakeholder & Project Coordination Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams. Lead project meetings, monitor progress, and provide regular status updates. Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and project-related documentation. 5. Process Improvement Enhance project monitoring, reporting processes, and operational efficiency. Conduct operational and maintenance training for clients to ensure successful project handover Qualifications: Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. At least 3 years of relevant experience in project engineering within the mechanical, HVAC, M&E, or engineering industry. Hands-on experience in equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel for project scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Good knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and industry standards. Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
