About this role
Responsibilities: Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems to ensure reliable operation and optimal efficiency. Deliver professional customer support by responding promptly to client queries and issues related to chiller operations and maintenance. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and control system faults with effective corrective actions. Advise and educate clients on proper operating and maintenance practices to extend equipment lifespan. Prepare clear and detailed service reports, including work performed, findings, and improvement recommendations. Perform commissioning for new chiller installations, ensuring systems are correctly installed and operate according to specifications. Coordinate with clients, agents, and contractors to verify system performance and compliance with technical requirements. Build strong working relationships with contractors to promote teamwork and effective problem-solving. Share technical knowledge with contractors to enhance processes and overall service quality. Comply strictly with workplace safety regulations and procedures during all service activities. Conduct safety briefings to ensure all parties are aware of and adhere to safety responsibilities. Operate in various site environments, including outdoor and plant room settings. Perform field-based duties with regular travel to customer locations. Provide standby support and respond to chiller breakdowns when assigned. Qualifications: Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in chiller maintenance, commissioning, or related HVAC roles. Certified in Building Construction Supervisors Safety Courses or equivalent safety training. Strong technical expertise in chiller systems, HVAC fundamentals, and electrical control systems.
