Logistics Planning Executive [El]

Assist in logistics planning activities, including layout design, space utilization, racking setup, and workflow mapping, under the supervision of the Department Manager. Analyze logistics operations and propose recommendations to improve processes and reduce costs. Promote and implement Lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to boost operational efficiency. Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), visual management boards, and performance dashboards. Collaborate with IT teams on Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration during new implementations or system upgrades. Support the launch of new business operations by facilitating facility setup, manpower allocation, and equipment sourcing. Utilize tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL to monitor and report on operational performance. Develop warehouse simulation models using MS Visio or AutoCAD for planning and analysis. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards within logistics operations. Contribute to long-term warehouse development plans that align with business expansion goals. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors throughout the planning and implementation phases. Perform on-site feasibility assessments and conduct post-implementation performance evaluations. Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) using data-driven dashboards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through team engagement and regular SOP evaluations. Assess and recommend automation solutions and digital warehouse technologies to enhance productivity.
